Visual aspect: a bright mahogany colour. Nose: delicate and aromatic, it exudes hints of cedar, dried fruit, apricot stone, grey pepper, cinnamon, candied orange and Mirabel plum. Palate: flavours of virginia tobacco, sweet spices and rancio. Marvellous elegance and perfect balance. Comment: tremendous delicacy and a certain sweetness, with lovely flavours of cocoa. The rancio hints are well outlined and distinct. A wonderful Cognac, a triumph for Hine.
