Visual aspect: intense ruby, clear. Nose: intense, complex, offering aromas of small black fruits (cherry, blackberry), of liquorice and white pepper. Palate: racy, with complexity. With a condensed flesh. Nice vivacity in the mid-palate supported by a tannic framework of a great maturity. Exceptionally long finish. Match with food: roasted pigeon. Comments: a great wine, rich and well-structured.
