Nose: balsamic, juniper, garrigue, jammy red fruit, prunes, morello cherries, crunchy chocolate, richly flavoured and heady. Palate: ample, suave, a sensation of smoothness, dense, powerful, structured, tannins still quite distinct. A sweet finish, rich, on liquorice, cherry pits.
