Champagne Verrier et fils
Visual aspect: gleaming, translucent, with a pale golden yellow hue. Nose: the first nose reveals fruity aromas (apricot) and this is followed by lovely minerality. Palate: excellent on the first taste with great delicacy. This wine is superbly made thanks to ideally ripe grapes. The finish gives a slight touch of menthol (spring onion) and is tremendously long. Match with food: turbot with hollandaise sauce. Comments: elegant and sophisticated with good structure. A wine to discover.
