Four Seasons George V Paris
A cocoon in a luxury world
Are you on a business trip, a couple getaways or a family vacation in Paris? Choose the George V and you will be guaranteed that all your needs, desires and demands will be satisfied, even anticipated. Beyond the luxury brand, the classification in the category Luxury Hotel, it is an attentive and personal service, marked with kindness, which defines the character of this purely Parisian establishment. Let yourself lose in an unforgettable experience!
10.00 p.m. You get off the plane. A car is waiting for you, sent by the George V you informed just the day before. Really convenient this service offered by the reception when you booked! You are dropped off in front of the huge revolving door of the hotel. The façade is splendid. You already feel you are about to enter one of the finest hotels in the world.
Built in 1928 by André Terrail, also owner in Paris of La Tour d'Argent, it is a tribute to the style Art Deco and is part of the Parisian architectural heritage. Restored in the late 90s after two years of work, the hotel is a subtle mix of Louis XVI style, marble and crystal chandeliers, with a resolutely modern technology regarding the equipment and services it offers. It is Pierre-Yves
Rochon who has been in charge of the interior design. Internationally famous, he is at the origin of the revival of Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo or Les Crayères in Reims. Colours are soft and exquisite. The careful decoration mingles antiques and pieces of art. And what about the amazing plant compositions signed Jeff Leatham! This talented American florist creates a new theme every fortnight and dramatizes the lobby with his incredible floral sculptures.
You also think the establishment is ideally located. Maybe will you go and have a look in the luxury shops on Avenue François 1er or Montaigne, tomorrow after your meeting...
When you enter, you immediately feel the genuine benevolence and kindness of each of the staff members you meet. It is late but whatever. You are warmly led to your room. Among the 244 available,
you have chosen a family one because your little darlings will join you this weekend. You know the team will foresee the necessary equipment, bathrobes at their size, baby toiletries... Even the restaurant menus are adapted.
You are feeling peckish after few hours of travel? Enjoy room service open 24/7. And your suit is crumpled? Send it to the steam-pressing; it will be ready tomorrow morning.
In the morning, 7 a.m.
You decide to have breakfast in the Gallery. With the newspaper of the day widespread in front of you, you look at the comings and goings. The place is a hive of activity! 650 employees strive night and day for the customers' well-being. They are attuned to the slightest need, even anticipate. They know the clients very well, 60% are habitués.
Isadore Sharp, founder of the group Four Seasons, decided that what would distinguish his hotels would be the sense of service: “Treat others as you would like to be treated”. He invented the amenities, the products offered in the bathroom. The group cultivates exemplarity in customer care as a true philosophy. And it is so in its 87 hotels.
