What challenges for the wine and spirits sector by 2030?

Vinexposium, the world's leading organizer of events dedicated to wines and spirits, is once again putting its expertise at the service of the sector.


As part of Bordeaux Wine Week, Vinexposium is organizing the "Act for Change" Symposium at the Cité du Vin on June 20 and 21, a series of forward-looking debates to question the role and adherence of the sector to the agenda of scale of the United Nations and COP26, and reflect on sustainable solutions for the future.

Experts and professionals from around the world will meet at the Cité du Vin to understand and apprehend the major changes to come and their impact on the production, consumption and distribution of wines and spirits by 2030.

Climate change, geopolitical conflicts, digitalization, evolution of vitivinicultural practices and consumption habits, ... The 2022 edition hits hard with a bold program of 9 forward-looking debates to question and shake up practices, to inspire and reflect thanks to expert analyzes international organizations keen to provide concrete responses to the wine and spirits sector to support the development of practices by 2030.

Thanks to the support of the Regional Council of New Aquitaine, Bordeaux Métropole, the City of Bordeaux, the Interprofessional Council of Bordeaux Wine and the Cité du Vin, the "Act for Change" Symposium will be held as part of the Bordeaux Wine Week.
