Visual aspect: deep gold yellow colour, fine effervescence, short cordon. Nose: fruity, blackcurrant, immediatly followed by a hint of humus and undergrowth. Palate: roundness and powerfulness, full and generous on the palate (fatness). The bitterness appeals a dish with mushrooms. Match with food: white meat, autumn mushroom sauce (St. George mushrooms, ceps). Comments: a wine to accompany a meal. Beautiful vinification, superb complexity.
