Visual aspect: a vivid ruby hue. Nose: very fruity with aromas of red fruit, raspberry, cherry and scents of pepper, violet, mocha and woody, slightly roasted hints. Palate: an overriding flavour of vanilla extract, as well as red fruit and pleasantly melted tannin. Match with food: duckling with orange. Comments: a really lovely wine.
