Visual aspect: a concentrated ruby colour with dark, crimson tints. Nose: complex, exuding aromas that are similar to Burgundy wines: small black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) and some floral hints. Palate: floral flavours of rose and violet. It is supple and rich. The finish is incredibly long, full of delicacy and elegance. Match with food: guinea fowl and cabbage in a red wine sauce. Comment: the extraordinary length of this wine characterises it marvellously. It possesses excellent ageing potential and will continue to delight palates for many years to come. Absoutely magnificent!
