Château Malartic-Lagravière
Visual aspect: a deep, vivid ruby colour with blood-red-coloured tints. Nose: good intensity on aromas of ripe fruits, clearly perceptible woodiness, and peppery, menthol, smoky, tobacco scents. Palate: round and supple on the first taste, with marvellous, refreshing acidity, average body, medium full-bodied structure and plump tannins which leave pleasant astringency. The finish is average too. Match with food: lamb stew. Comments: an easy-to-understand and pleasant wine for convivial moments.
