Château Smith Haut Lafitte

Visual aspect: a garnet-red colour, with the disc showing development.
Nose: very fine and elegant, with toasted, roasted scents and hints of animal and leather.
Palate: full-bodied, fleshy, with volume and a flavour of liquorice. Nice balance, greedy.
Match with food: duck breast with ceps.
Comments: marvellous development of Cabernets. Very pleasant. A wine to discover.
