Visual aspect: very bright, with a golden yellow colour.
Nose: scents of dried apricot, preserved citrus; very expressive.
Palate: marvellous first taste with lovely substance, it is silky, delicate and quite long. Excellent balance, with unctuousness on the second taste; superb fruitiness. The finish is dense and long on flavours of very ripe citrus.
Match with food: fresh fruit desserts, without sugar, apricot and almond tart.
Comment: a lovely Sauternes; a ‘must’ to try.
