Visual aspect: a carmine red, showing a touch of development.
Nose: powerful, expressive on scents of blackberry liqueur and liquorice, as well as a mineral touch of graphite. After swirling it reveals bay and dried tobacco.
Palate: delicate, silky fruit stone flavours, excellent texture which envelops pleasantly melted tannin. It feels delicate on the palate. This finish is short and mineral.
Match with food: aumônière of lamb chops with dried herbs. Creamy polenta.
Comments: a mature, finely-balanced, stylish wine.
