Visual aspect: clear, ruby-red with legs. Nose: clean. Scents of black berries, cherry, dried figs, dates, lots of sweet spices like mint, cloves and liquorice. Aromas of peppercorn, toast aromas, cooked carrots. Palate: supple with the right acidity. Round and soft tannins. Lots of cherry, berries flavours, good fruitiness in the mouth. Match with food: duck breast with cherry sauce; roasted pigeon. Comments: a round and fruity wine.
