Visual aspect: intense garnet red colour, cherry flesh tinges, fluid, brilliant. Nose: intense, black fruits (blackcurrant, redcurrant). Liquorice, a hint of eucalyptus, vegetable. Still evolved. Palate: pure first taste, fluid and astringent tannins on the finish. With small red fruits, spices, pepper bell. Match with food: prime cut of veal with shallot; aubergines gratin. Comments: a wine for pleasure, very well-made.
