Visual aspect: vivid and transluscent, with a beautiful black ink colour with purple tinges.
Nose: expressive and ripe, revealing aromas of small black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry).
Palate: full-bodied, rich and stylish, it has magnificent, well balanced texture with fruity flavours and ripe, delicate tannin. Spicy on an incredibly long finish.
Match with food: pigeon with a foie-gras stuffing.
Comment: an excellent wine produced by an estate that gives consistent quality. A great wine from a great winemaker!
