Since October 2024, the Lehmann experience workshop has been delving into the impact of glass on champagne tasting. In just 1.5 hours and within an intimate setting (maximum of 6 participants), this interactive workshop invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of wine glasses and their secrets.
Available in both French and English, the workshop is structured around three key highlights. It begins with an immersive video mapping experience tracing the history of glass from Antiquity to the present day, while exploring its detailed anatomy (rim, stem, bowl) and the intricate techniques of its craftsmanship (mouth-blown and machine-blown glass). Next, participants are treated to a groundbreaking comparative tasting. The same champagne cuvee is served in five different glasses, showcasing how the design and shape of the glass influence the aromas and the taster's perception. Finally, the session concludes with a presentation of the Maison's signature collections, highlighting the technical innovations and glassmaking expertise that elevate every tasting experience.
For an even more exclusive experience, the workshop can be privatized for individuals or professionals. Champagne Houses are also welcome to bring their own cuvees for a tailored exploration, unveiling the full potential of their creations.
