Color: ruby hue, starting to veer towards purple, shiny. Nose: sweet spices, liquorice, ripe red and black fruits provided by the 90% Merlot. Palate: lightness, present but fine tannins. Mentholated freshness. Powerful and elegant, the 10% Malbec brings spicy notes. Beautiful length on the palate. Pairing: beef Wellington, morel sauce. Comment: drinks very well now but also has a good ageing potential of 5 years.
