Visual aspect: a garnet-red hue with dark purple tints.
Nose: powerful, with fruity, ripe scents which seem almost exotic because of a hint of precious wood, sandalwood, incense on a backdrop of slightly peppery raspberry coulis and a touch of liquorice.
Palate: supple and smooth with silky texture. The peppery hint appears on the palate, with more intense flavours of raspberry. Elegant tannin.
Match with food: pressed pork in layers with a delicately peppery tomato paste.
Comments: already expressive with lots of charming aromas which make it very pleasing.
