Spiritueux Chermignac
Established at the Domaine des Forges in Chermignac since 1791, Georges Vallein offered Cognac commercially from 1850. His son Paul Vallein, his grandson Louis Tercinier, his great grandson Robert Tercinier succeeded him.
Vallein Tercinier is an independent family-run House, which for over a century and a half distils and raises eaux-de-vie from each “crus” to offer connoisseurs the best selection of Cognac blends and cask strengths.
“The tradition of Cognac is to be a blend. Nevertheless, sometimes a single brandy combining the work of time, of the barrel, and the patience of the Cellar Master, leads us by its very own quality to propose Single Cask Cognacs”, Catherine Roudier-Tercinier explains.
Thanks to the know-how and secrets handed down from father to son for 5 generations of cellar masters, it has been possible to create beautiful blends.
Its reputation and seriousness, the quality of its brandies, and the respect of its commitments allowed the House to consolidate its European markets and exports for more than 30 years.

Blend of Eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne of which the youngest is 40 year old
The palate first detects the finesse and mellowness due to the personality of several eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, very present in the mouth. Then the buds recognize the vanilla character from the oak barrels from Limousin, finally the spicy flavours return, with this imperceptible sweetness of fruit.
