Visual aspect: beautiful garnet-red, deep, brilliant hue. Disk with black fruit colours (blueberry, blackcurrant). Nose: complex, blackcurrant and wild blackberry maturity, notes of cocoa, ripe pomegranate, pink peony, spices. Palate: fresh at first taste, the tannins are present and young. A morello cherry side, macerated raspberries. Straight finish on garigue and black olive aromas. Match with food: prime rib of beef with marrow; beef stuffed with foie gras and Perigord sauce, deglazed with wine and served with potato churros. Comments: a beautiful wine.
