Visual aspect: gleaming, it has a dark ruby colour with purple tints.
Nose: wonderfully powerful aromas dominated by fragrances of cooked fruit and Burlat cherry. A few hints of violet.
Palate: pure on the first taste, with lovely fullness and tightly-knit, velvety, very ripe tannins. Average length on fruit flavours.
Match with food: barbecued beef; tagine of lamb with prunes.
Comments: delicious and well-made.
