Visual aspect: a dark garnet-red colour with luminous tinges.
Nose: charming, expressive and pleasant. It exhales scents of very ripe small black fruit developing towards hints of garrigue (scrubland).
Palate: the first taste reveals woody, crisp tannins. The wine is fleshy and round, with delicate, but distinct woodiness. Spicy hints. The finish is very pleasant.
Match with food: duck breast cooked with cherries.
Comment: a marvellous wine to try without delay!
