Visual aspect: a lovely, vivid, gleaming cherry-red hue.
Nose: very fine and expressive, open on aromas of stewed black fruit and cherries in eau-de-vie.
Palate: warm, fresh and pure, supple on marvellous melted, crisp tannin. The finish is absolutely excellent.
Match with food: duck breast cooked with Morello cherries.
Comments: a splendid wine!
