Visual aspect: a pellucid, gleaming light ruby colour of marvellous intensity.
Nose: pure on aromas of black fruit, such as cherry, blackberry and bilberry. Spicy, vanilla-scented, peppery on scents of prune and cherry. Complex and very pleasant fragrances.
Palate: round, supple and fresh first taste, the tannin is melted and pleasant, the second taste is on flavours of cherry and spices. A long finish with good balance.
Match with food: chicken supreme in a rich red wine sauce.
Comments: an absolutely delicious wine and marvellous complexity of aromas and flavours, as well as wonderful roundness and perfect balance.
