Nose: excellent powerful aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and a delicately vanilla-scented and peppery hint. Relatively complex.
Palate: supple first taste, marvellously lively. Distinct, but pleasant tannin, and a slightly roasted flavour on quite a long finish.
Match with food: rack of pork with Jacquessonne apple.
