Visual aspect: a garnet-red hue with marvellously vivid dark purple tinges.
Nose: a very pleasant nose on aromas of fruit such as cherries lightly macerated in Kirsch and black fruit (blackberry, bilberry), as well as a peppery hint and a touch of cocoa bean.
Palate: supple and fresh on the first taste, the second gives a flavour of cherry and pepper. The finish is fresh. Pleasant tannin, splendid balance.
Match with food: rack of lamb in a crust of spices, served with peas.
Comments: a well-balanced wine, excellent complexity.
