Visual aspect: it has the colour of midnight blue satin.
Nose: aromas of strawberry, aromatics and black fruit, intensified by spicy hints (pepper, liquorice).
Palate: supple, with lovely smooth tannin accentuating flavours of pleasantly ripe black fruit. The finish is long, delicate and general.
Match with food: roast beef with chanterelle mushrooms.
Comments: a well-balanced wine, a marvellous expression of generosity and deliciousness – excellent!
