Visual aspect: Very deep garnet-red colour, intense red fringe, coloured tears.
Nose: Neat nose of ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, morello cherries, figs, peppery and spicy notes.
Palate: Solid attack, good evolution on a solid structure, finish of good length.
Match with food: Jugged hare à la royale; Pyrénées sheep cheese with black cherry jam.
Comment: Elegant and well-balanced Porto, to be kept.
