Visual aspect: a ruby-red hue and garnet-red tints. Nose: superb powerfulness with aromas of ripe bilberry mingled with balsamic hints and scents of pine citrus, undergrowth, dried mushrooms and cherries preserved in alcohol, the nose is very complex. Palate: pure and expressive first taste, it increases in intensity as it develops, with well-structured body, excellent extraction, finely balanced acidity and marvellous tannins, ideally astringent. Match with food: roast duck breast, wine sauce flavoured with blackcurrant. Comments: a delicate, elegant wine to delight the most demanding palates.
