Visual aspect: a vivid, gleaming ruby hue, it still looks very young. Nose: not fully expressive yet, it exudes a fragrance of aniseed and blackberry, but scents of maturation are predominant at present with a smoky hint, still young, and scents of pencil lead, cherries, along with burnt, vegetal hints. Palate: supple, fleshy and well-balanced, the tannins are firm, but pleasantly melted, full-bodied, it gives a flavour of quince, but wait a while for this wine, its tannins are very long. Match with food: lamb cooked as game, lamb kidneys. Comments: decant one hour before serving. This wine is young, but well-balanced.
