Visual aspect: a ruby, almost garnet-red colour, showing hints of development. Nose: not very expressive, with some aromas of ripe fruit, strawberry jam, slightly empyreumatic hints and a touch of liquorice. Palate: pure, full-bodied and round on the first taste, with flavours of liquorice and vanilla. The finish is superb and promising. Match with food: roast beef. Comments: completely in accordance with the style of the vintage.
