Visual aspect: a vivid garnet-red colour with bold purplish tinges. Nose: delicate aromas, slightly spicy (black pepper), scents of red and black fruit, a vegetal hint and a touch of vanilla. Palate: drying tannins, but the first taste is pure, with slight astringency. Match with food: red meat. Comments: a wine which is pleasant now, but should be left to age more.
