Visual aspect: a deep blackish hue, with gleaming tinges. Nose: an array of spices, as well as a hint of liquorice, it seems complex. Palate: a superb mineral first taste, it is concentrated on flavours of black fruit, liquorice and a touch of leather, excellent balance, it is elegant and sophisticated. Match with food: young fattened chicken poached with truffles. Comments: huge potential, superb charactertistic qualities. A first-rate quality wine from the AOC Saint-Julien.
