Nose: very good intensity, flowery scents, intense aromas of compote, violet, pepper, blackberry, blackcurrant, marmalade, light touch of chocolate. Palate: fresh first taste, very silky tannins. The aromas of the nose explode on the palate; warm presence. Complete and very rich final taste. Match with food: pigeon with blackcurrants and a mushroom gratin. Comments: a lovely wine of great richness.
