Palate: supple first taste, nice complexity, on notes of caramel, cocoa, wood, a hint of vanilla sugar. Nice finish, nice length. Match with food: chocolate shortbread with red fruit coulis, cocoa sorbet with raspberries. Comments: an atypical wine for connoisseurs. A wine for pleasure, to decant before serving.
