Visual aspect: black cherry, brilliant, limpid. Deep garnet-red. Nose: intense, complex, spicy, black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), a very melted hint of wood. Palate: supple at first taste, smooth, very delicate. Same aromas as the nose (blackcurrant, blackberry), laurel, olive. The tannins are present but fine. Nice concentration, beautiful finish. Match with food: hare stew. Comments: a very nice wine to decant.
