Visual aspect: a lovely cordon and a golden-yellow colour.
Nose: very surprising aromas of crystallised apricot, dried fruit, jam, tobacco and old rum.
Palate: slight acidity on the first taste; it is round, very consistent,
with lovely balance.
Match with food: mature Comté, Parmesan.
Comment: a slightly massive wine. Complex, it is a well-made wine
to serve throughout a meal. A connoisseur’s wine!
