Visual aspect: quite deep ruby-red and garnet-red tinges. Nose: open and pleasant, black fruits, Morello cherry, leather. Palate: well-balanced from the first to the last taste. Broad mid-palate. Aftertaste of character, with spicy and animal notes. Long, very pleasant finish. Match with food: Saltimbocca veal chop. Comments: very well-balanced, already magnificent for 2011, enjoyable now and with a beautiful potential.
