Visual aspect: dark, deep black, brilliant, intense. Garnet-red tinge with signs of developement. Nose: black jammy fruits, smoked, undergrowth, gamey. Palate: pure and round. Fine and ripe tannins. Cherries in eau-de-vie, coffee, cocoa. Aromatic character, slight roasted. Match with food: thrush with bacon. Comments: the roasted, a bit solar side of the vintage. A beautiful typical wine.
