Visual aspect: intense garnet-red colour, very marked colour intensity. Purplish tinges. Fine and thick tears. Nose: intense, rich and complex. Cherry in brandy and liquorice. Very pleasant, some notes of leather arrive in the second nose. Palate: supple mid-palate, ample and fresh. Blackcurrant, liquorice. Tight and pleasant tannic structure. Long finish with cherry aromas which ends on a beautiful freshness. Match with food: knob of lamb with herbs and season vegetables. Comments: one of our favourites.
