Visual aspect: very steady garnet red colour. Nose: very powerful, candied prunes eau-de-vie, notes of milk caramel and small red fruits. Palate: quite supple first taste evolving to a fruit alcohol side and liquorice. Match with food: flambéed sweet breads; steak with green pepper. Comments: very expressive rustic Bandol, to decant.
