Visual aspect: gold yellow colour, pale green shades on the disk. Neat, nice nonchalance. Nose: first nose with dried fruits, fruits with pips (golden apple, pear). Toasty notes after swirling, light woodiness. Palate: ample first taste, round, unctuous. Some citrussy notes provide the fresh touch. Generous aftertaste, melted dosage. Match with food: smoked salmon and horseradish. Comments: a complete wine for the aperitif, the barrel is very well blended.
