Visual aspect: deep red colour, purple tinges. Brilliant, limpid. Nose: medium open first nose, needs some swirling. The second nose is typical of the grape variety. Spicy notes, floral, black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry). Palate: frank first taste, a clean wine, fresh and vivid. Still young. Match with food: red meat with sauce; tajine with prunes. Comments: fairly fleshy wine, generous. Needs airing.
