Visual aspect: marvellously concentrated, with a relatively vivid ruby colour and radiant purple tinges.
Nose: characteristic scents of Pinot Noir, with predominant aromas of small black and red fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry, raspberry jam, blackberry).
Palate: the first taste is supple and round on the same fruity texture perceived on the nose. Its acidity is still fresh and mentholated, giving a refreshing sensation. Lovely fullness on the finish.
Match with food: Saint-Marcellin cheese, Bresse poultry cooked with chanterelle mushrooms.
Comment: oustanding progress for this young couple of winemakers who will undoubtedly surpirse us again over the next few years.
