Visual aspect: an orangey-amber hue. Nose: aromas of orange and honeysuckle its aromas are rather floral and elegant. Palate: supple and full-bodied on the first taste, without a burning sensation, and flavours of orange peel. There is no bitterness whatsoever. Excellent maturity and a certain fullness. Comment: the powerfulness of Grande Champagne combines with the maturity of ageing. A Cognac to savour over a long time, sip by sip, eyes closed, in the tranquil peace of a late afternoon of November sitting near a glowing log fire. Pure pleasure!
