Visual aspect: a bold crimson colour with dark-purple tinges. Nose: expressive, open and elegant, it reveals hints of spices and liquorice. Palate: delicious and well balanced on the first taste, with lovely tannins and excellent concentration. Flavours of black fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry and violet. The finish is full of flavour and long. Match with food: small game leg of wild boar with blueberries rolled fillet of venison with blackcurrants. Comment: this marvellous wine can be enjoyed now, but, if we have the patience, it will be a great pleasure in seven to eight years' time.
