Château La Marzelle

Visual aspect: a very deep, black hue with ruby-red tints. Nose: predominant hints of barrel maturation (woody), the aromas of ripe fruit are of lovely quality and mingle with scents of mocha, coffee and tobacco. Palate: a pure, full-bodied first taste, it is elegant and well balanced overall. The tannins are distinct and tightly-knit. Lots of fruit and spice flavours. The finish reveals tannins that are still fresh. Excellent length. Match with food: partridge with pepper sauce woodcock with truffle. Comment: an extremely well made wine, it will be a delight for many consumers.
