Visual aspect: a translucent, gleaming light ruby colour of lovely vividness.
Nose: very powerful aromas of red fruit, griotte cherry and delicately vanilla-scented hint.
Palate: pure and lively on the first taste. Distinct, but pleasant tannin. The second taste is round and delicious, and the finish long and fresh.
Match with food: rib steak with parsley butter and chanterelle mushroom flan.
Comments: an extremely delicious wine. Like all marvellous Pinots in their youth, but this wine will gain in intensity if you are patient. A magnificent wine!
