Visual aspect: quite deep dark purple, dark purple glints, numerous obvious and coloured tears. Nose: chocolate, kirsch cherry dominant, hints of scrublands, wood and liquorice. Quite warm. Palate: full-bodied, quite dense, meaty, silky tannins and velvety. Elegance, fine balance, sweet finish, liquorice wood. Match with food: roasted bull steak, marrow sauce. Comments: very good wine with a fine future representative of the region.
